BRYCE NATIONAL PARK
Bryce Canyon National Park was established in 1928 as a 59 acre park is in Southern Utah. Zion NP is close to it and many people visit both in one day.
Bryce Canyon is known for crimson-colored hoodoos, which are spire-shaped rock formations. The park’s main road leads past the expansive Bryce Amphitheater, a depression lying below the Rim Trail hiking path. It has overlooks at Sunrise Point, Sunset Point, Inspiration Point and Bryce Point.
Springdale, the same town that serves Zion, also serves Bryce and although it only has 509 residents, over 2.5 million visitors pass through it yearly.
